2. Information, not individual advice
Our health, public-interest and educational content is general information. It is not a diagnosis, treatment plan, legal opinion or substitute for advice from a qualified professional who understands your circumstances. Seek urgent local help where a situation requires immediate care.
3. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit unlawful or harmful material, impersonate another person, or use our content in a misleading way.
4. Our content and intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, Laughing Labcoat owns or is licensed to use the branding, writing, designs, photographs, video, audio and other material published on this site. You may link to public pages and share public posts through their normal sharing tools. You may not copy, sell, alter or republish our material as your own without written permission.
5. External services and links
The site links to services operated by others, including YouTube, TikTok, WhatsApp and email providers. Their own terms and privacy practices apply when you use them. We are not responsible for their availability or content.
6. Service enquiries and quotes
Website descriptions, packages and conversations are invitations to discuss a brief, not binding offers. A service engagement begins only when scope, timing, fees and other material terms are agreed in writing. Client-specific written terms take priority where they conflict with this page.
7. Availability and liability boundaries
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not promise uninterrupted access or that every item will always be current. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Laughing Labcoat is not responsible for indirect loss caused by reliance on general site content, external services or temporary unavailability. Nothing here excludes a right or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may update the site or these terms. The effective date and version at the top show when this wording last changed. Material changes apply from the date the revised terms are published.
Fungua Roho Live event terms
1. Reservations
A reservation is for the person named during registration and is subject to the stated event capacity. Please provide accurate contact details so we can send the ticket and essential event information. Contact us if you can no longer attend so the place can be made available to someone else.
2. Entry and venue
Bring your QR ticket or ticket code for check-in and follow reasonable safety, accessibility and venue instructions. A reservation does not remove any lawful venue requirement. Please contact us before the event if you need to discuss access arrangements.
3. Respectful participation
Fungua Roho is intended for open but respectful conversation. Do not threaten, harass, discriminate against, endanger or deliberately disrupt other guests, speakers, staff or venue teams. We may ask someone to leave where reasonably necessary for safety, lawful operation or the experience of others.
4. Photography and recording notice
This is a live podcast event. Photography, audio and video recording may take place and selected material may later be published by Laughing Labcoat across its website, programmes and social channels. Accepting these event terms confirms that you have seen this notice; it is not blanket consent to use an identifiable close-up of you for promotion. Contact us before the event or speak to event staff when you arrive if you have a concern or want to avoid identifiable filming. We will use reasonable efforts to respect that request, but cannot guarantee that every audience member will be outside wide crowd shots or ambient recordings.
5. Event changes
Event details may need to change for operational, safety, venue or circumstances beyond reasonable control. If they do, we will use the contact details supplied at registration to share essential updates. Optional community or marketing updates are a separate choice on the registration form.
6. Personal responsibility
Take reasonable care of yourself and your belongings and tell event staff promptly about a safety concern. Laughing Labcoat is not responsible for loss caused by conduct outside its reasonable control, subject always to rights and responsibilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
